About The W.E.B Penpal PrograMmE

The Gothe Residency of the Arts (GROTA) Written Exchange Beacon (W.E.B.) is an international penpal programme designed to foster tangible creative exchanges and meaningful connections among 'dark-spirited' and alternative artists within GROTA’s community. Currently, with over 50 paired penpals from 26 unique regions around the world, the W.E.B. highlights the importance of genuine, artful correspondence and its collective value to the creative spirit.

Every applicant is paired manually, with great care and consideration for individual interests and values. This allows us to increase the potential for enriching, meaningful, and long-lasting penpalships. As such, applications are currently limited to members of GROTA’s Patreon community, ensuring the longevity and sustainability of the programme.
