SYMBOLS AND SYMBOLISM

Since the founding of Gothe Residency of the Arts, our visionary projects, programs, and community have all been led by a series of five core visual symbols, each with their own associated symbolism personally chosen by GROTA’s Founder, Vincent Gothe. These symbols have inspired countless illustrations, stories, and musings from our team and community through the years.

We encourage members of GROTA’s community to take note of these symbols and their symbolic appearances in our work.
