Contributing Artist
As a Contributing Artist, you will be an integral part of our legacy, and artistic community. Your role may be temporary or ongoing, depending on your availability. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute your artwork, performances, or creative projects to GROTA in a manner that compliments your own artistic nature. Contributions may include art book or challenge submissions, creating Kickstarter reward designs, designing promotional materials, creating visual assets for our online platforms, or even later conducting workshops or masterclasses to share your artistic skills and knowledge with fellow community members. You may collaborate with other visionaries, engage in artistic discussions, and inspire and support fellow community members and visionaries in their artistic endeavors. Your unique artistic voice and talent will contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of our community, fostering a rich and inclusive environment for all.
Additionally, as a Contributing Artist, you will have a lasting relationship with our residency and will have many exclusive opportunities during and post funding to stay and work with us, further establishing your presence and reputation at our residency and in our community.
(Note: this role overlaps with other roles—many, if not all of our visionary roles are also contributing artists!)
Community Leader
Our community leaders are individuals who can take on various responsibilities to lead and nurture our artistic community. You will need to provide kindness, and communicate effectively and often with our community members, with the ability to resolve conflicts, address questions, and coordinate events to support the growth and success of the residency and crowdfunding campaign.
Advertising Assistant
As an Advertising Assistant for our Kickstarter campaign, you will play a crucial role in promoting and driving the success of the campaign. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and execution of advertising strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and funding for the artist residency program. You will communicate closely with our creative director and visionary members to ensure that the advertising efforts align with the artistic vision and goals of our residency program!
Outreach Assistant
As an Outreach Assistant, you will be responsible for expanding the reach and impact of our artistic community. Your primary role will be to engage with external creators/individuals and organizations to raise awareness of our residency program and attract new participants and supporters. You will assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies, which may include conducting research, identifying potential partners, reaching out to relevant communities and institutions, and organizing events or initiatives to connect with new audiences. Through your efforts, you will help our community grow, diversify, and create meaningful connections within the broader artistic landscape.
Production/ Shipping Assistant
As a Production/Shipping Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production and shipping processes. Your role will involve coordinating with artists, suppliers, and vendors to oversee the production of artistic merchandise, prints, or other products associated with our residency program. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, quality control, and packaging of products for shipment. Additionally, you will work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and efficient shipping practices. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our production and shipping operations.
