What is "GROTA"?

Gothe Residency of the Arts (“GROTA”) will be an Artist-in-residence experience tailored to the dark creative spirit.

GROTA wishes to emerge through its residency program and affiliated community projects as an epicenter for the dark creative spirits of the world.

Our mission is to create an inclusive artistic space and experiences that will revitalize the dark creative spirit; to provide an Artist Residency experience that ignites the soul and encourages residents to explore their unique creative interests, and the dark gift that is themselves.

What We’re Raising Funds to Do

Our mission is to fund our vision: the renovation of a historic Neo-Gothic/Victorian/Gothic Revival residence so that we can offer a unique artist-in-residence experience tailored to the dark-spirited creators of the world! The funds we are raising will help us get our residency started so that we can offer rooms, meals, comfort, and a unique creative experience for artists looking to live in residence!
